I Ferris Bueller’ed my way into the restricted access Koenigsegg exhibit by pretending I was an Associate Photo Editor for Motor Trend Magazine. Ok, that’s not true, but it sounds really cool (my friend knew an employee who let us in).
Skip to the bottom for the Koenigsegg’s, Spyker, and Veyron SS.
I hauled ass over to the Porsche exhibit so I could get photos of the 911R before people cluttered up the background.
The 718 Boxster is cool, but I don’t think it’s as pretty as the outgoing Boxster. Maybe it’s a Subaru thing, and it’ll look good 5 years from now.
I love how they buried the PORSCHE lettering inside the shadow of the spoiler.

In photos this thing looks amazing, but in real life, it’s doesn’t really look that exotic. It’s not an Accord, but it’s also not as striking as a Ferrari.
It’s cool, I guess, but not my cup of tea. But it earns a photo op for rarity.
I’ve made fun of Lincoln before, but this thing looks IMPOSING in person. Lincoln’s interiors completely blew me away.
Sport version = RED.
Hybrid version = BLUE.
The 4C is a tiny car, but it looks like an elephant next to the diminutive 33 Stradale!
The original R8 was prettier.
Sorry Audi, but the new R8 just isn’t that pretty.

There were 32 Million people surrounding the GT350, so this is the best photo I could get.

When I got there, and this was opening Friday, Jag was fuckin packed. It was hard to take some photos there and at the Porsche stand

Today. I bought early admission tickets (1 hour early). The family tree of Nissan Skyline’s left last night, so I missed them. And I heard a rumor that the Regera will be gone by tomorrow.

fun. I went Friday, came arrived 30 minutes after opening time to find a huge line stretching around half the whole perimeter of the javits center. I think the gtr family left Thursday night, didn't see them. as for the people there, it was almost impossible to touch some of the popular cars.

I believe it. I literally sprinted to the Porsche stand as soon as I got in the door so I’d be the first person to see the 911R. I managed to catch Jaguar before it got mobbed, but by the time I migrated over to BMW, it was a madhouse.

I lined up an hour early (for early admission no less!) and was still at least 50th in line. These shows are crazy!
I’m still bummed that I missed the Millenium Jade R34 Skyline. But I would have been heartbroken if I missed the Regera!

Actually, the Miata was the only car I sat in the whole show (I use to own a 95' NA). I just couldn’t get a photo because it was PACKED by the time I migrated over there.
I’m so impressed with how small it feels. And it fixed everything I hated about the NA: 1) the soft top folds in half instead of flipping back, so the underside never gets exposed to the rain, and 2) the back window doesn’t fold in half (and crack in cold weather) when you fold the top down.

Gorgeous pics. And those Koenigseggs! The only time I’ve ever seen one in person, I was stupefied. It was a CCX. I could hardly contain myself. I got to spend some time alone with it but I only touched it once; just to be able to say i’ve touched one.

I don’t love its face, but the Preliator has one attractive Posterior. And that R8 in BRG is GORGEOUS!
